What Was the Religion of Jesus
Table of Contents
ToggleJews claim that Jesus was Jewish, and Christianity built its entire history around that idea. In the Gospel of John, Jesus refers to “we Jews,” which some take as proof of his Jewish identity. But what does being a Jew actually mean? Jewish lineage traditionally follows the father’s line, specifically from the tribe of Judah or one of the twelve tribes of Jacob. However, Jesus had no biological father from any tribe, according to Christian belief. So, how can he be a Jew if he lacks a verifiable paternal ancestry within the Jewish tribes? This raises a serious contradiction. If Jewish identity is based on tribal descent and Jesus had no earthly father from Judah, can he still be considered a Jew in the traditional sense? Or was this label later imposed to fit a theological narrative?
Was Jesus Really a Jew? A Closer Look at His Lineage
In Judaism, a person is considered a Jew if they come from the tribe of Judah or one of the twelve tribes of Jacob. However, Jesus had no biological father from any tribe. Christianity claims Jesus is the “Son of David” and “Son of Abraham” (📖 Matthew 1:1), but not in a biological sense. This creates a contradiction in Jewish law, where lineage and tribal identity are traditionally passed through the father.
📖Numbers 1:18
They registered by ancestry in their clans and families—the men twenty years old or more, listed by name, one by one, according to their fathers’ lines.”
📖Ezra 2:59
The following came up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Kerub, Addon, and Immer, but they could not prove that their families were descended from Israel.”
📖Ezra 10:3
Jewish men were ordered to divorce foreign wives and send away the children – even if the father was Jewish.
- That means:
✅ The father determines identity.
❌ The mother does not.
Was Jesus a Real Jew?
Under the Torah and Jewish law: No. Jesus lacked a biological father from Judah or Israel, which disqualifies him from Jewish tribal identity. His Jewishness is a theological claim rather than a legal or biological fact. He is only considered “Jewish” in a symbolic sense by Christian interpretation, not by Torah law.
Jesus and Jewish Identity
Now that we know Jesus does not qualify as a Jew under Torah law, let’s address another misconception. If someone still insists that he was a Jew, there’s no issue, except that Judaism is a tribal identity, not just a religion, A Jew is a person who descends from the twelve tribes of Jacob (Israel), specifically the tribe of Judah or one of the other eleven tribes.
The name Judaism comes from Judah, which was part of the southern kingdom of Israel. The name Israel itself comes from Jacob, who was given the name Israel by God (📖 Genesis 32:28 – “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel…”). His twelve sons became the ancestors of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Historically, Israel was never the name of a country or nation, but rather the land where the tribes of Israel lived. The Kingdom of Israel was a tribal confederation ruled by kings like Saul, David, and Solomon. After Solomon’s death, it split into two:
-
Kingdom of Israel (Northern Kingdom) – Home to ten tribes.
-
Kingdom of Judah (Southern Kingdom) – Home to Judah, Benjamin, and some Levites.
The Torah never commands anyone to call themselves “Jewish” as a religious label- Jewish identity is based on tribal lineage, not merely a way of life.
What Was Jesus’ Religion?
Was Jesus Christian? The answer is no-he never called himself a Christian and never established a new religion. In fact, Jesus never even heard the word “Christian” in his lifetime.
The term “Christian” was first used by pagans to mock Jesus’ followers. It was a label placed on them, not one they chose.
📖Acts 11:26
The disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”
📖Acts 26:28
Then Agrippa said to Paul, ‘Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to become a Christian?’”
📖1 Peter 4:16
However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.”
It was Paul, not Jesus, who embraced the name “Christian” and spread it. Jesus never approved this name, nor did God. Christianity as a religion was created later, heavily influenced by Paul, who introduced many new doctrines that Jesus himself never taught.
What Does the Qur’an Say About “Christians”?
The Qur’an never states that “Christian” was a name given by God. Instead, it refers to them as “those who say, ‘We are Christians’”, showing that it was a self-declared label, not a divine one.
📖Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:14)
“And from those who say, ‘We are Christians,’ We took their covenant, but they forgot a portion of what they were reminded of. So We caused among them enmity and hatred until the Day of Judgment…”
📖Surah Al-Baqarah (2:111)
And they say, ‘None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian.’ That is their wishful thinking. Say, ‘Produce your proof, if you should be truthful.'”
God refers to them only as those who call themselves Christians, proving that this name was not given by God but rather adopted by people. So, if Jesus wasn’t a Christian, what was his religion? He followed the laws of God, worshiped one God, and called people to obey God’s commandments, something far closer to Islam than modern Christianity.
What Is Islam?
Islam means believing in One God and submitting to His will Quran 2:131. Now, let’s compare this with Jesus.
-
Did Jesus believe in One God? ✅ YES
📖Mark 12:29 – “The most important commandment,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One.’” -
Did Jesus say he was sent by God? ✅ YES
📖John 17:3 – “That they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” -
Did Jesus say he hears from God and only speaks what God commands? ✅ YES
📖John 12:49 – “For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has Himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak.” -
Did Jesus believe he was God? ❌ NO
📖John 20:17 – “I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” - Did Jesus say he submits to God? ✅ YES
📖John 5:30 – “I can do nothing on my own. I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of Him who sent me.”
Did Jesus pray to God like a servant? ✅ YES
📖Matthew 26:39– “He fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.’”That’s pure submission., praying with his face on the ground like a Muslim and saying “not my will, but God’s will, They mock Muslims for praying like Jesus, but their societies are busy promoting LGBT parades, OnlyFans, and moral corruption, yet they call themselves followers of Christ? 😂 they had No shame in sucking private parts, but bowing to the Creator is shame?
- Did Jesus say he was a servant of God? ✅ YES
📖John 13:16– “Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.”
Now, Christians might say, “Jesus never said ‘I am not God,’” but that’s like saying someone never said “I am not a banana,” so maybe they are one? 🤡 Jesus literally made himself NOT God by saying he was sent by God, hears from God, obeys God, and has a God. If someone is sent, commanded, and worships God, how on earth can they be God? 🤦♂️ So, let’s be real, Jesus was a Muslim in belief. He worshiped one God, submitted to God’s will, and called people to obey God’s laws. Christianity, on the other hand, turned him into a divine figure against his own words, Now Christians Will Say “But He Said ‘Father,’ Not God” 🤡 Of course, we agree Jesus said “Father”, at least based on the books that were written after him. But let’s be real: “Father” was just a term of relationship, not divinity.
Even Hindus call Krishna ‘Father’, and Christians themselves use the term for:
-
Church fathers (so are they divine now? 😂)
-
Real biological fathers (basic logic 🤦♂️)
-
Paul, their self-made apostle (📖 1 Corinthians 4:15 – “For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the gospel.”)
The term was allowed at that time as long as no one took it literally as a begotten son of God, because that would be pure blasphemy, Jesus Didn’t Say YHWH – So Is That Name Fake? Jesus spoke Aramaic, not Greek. And in Aramaic, he didn’t say “YHWH”- he used the word “Alaha”, which is much closer to “Allah” than “YHWH.” But wait… if “YHWH” is the actual name of God, why is it completely missing from the entire New Testament? 🤡
-
Does this mean YHWH never existed?
-
Did Jesus hide God’s real name?
-
Or did the writers of the New Testament forget to include it?
Christianity is literally a religion built on contradictions. Jesus worshiped One God and called people to obey God’s commands. Instead, Paul hijacked his message, made up a fake “Son of God” doctrine, and got Christians worshiping a man instead of the One who sent him. 🤦♂️
Fasting in the Bible and the Quran – Who Really Follows Jesus?
📖Quran 2:183
“O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.”
Fasting in the Bible:
- Israel fasted – (1 Samuel 7:6)
- Prophet Elijah fasted – (1 Kings 19:8)
- Prophet Ezra fasted – (Ezra 10:6)
- Prophet Daniel fasted – (Daniel 10:3)
- Prophet Moses fasted – (Exodus 34:28)
- Jesus fasted – (Matthew 4:1-2)
- Jesus’ followers were commanded to fast – (Matthew 6:16-18)
- Jesus confirmed his followers would fast – (Luke 5:33-35)
Christians: Following Jesus or the Devil? 🤡
Jesus fasted. The prophets fasted. The Bible commands fasting. But modern Christians? They replaced fasting with feasting! 🍔🍷
🔹 Jesus: “Fast and seek righteousness.”
🔹 Christians today: “Let’s have a Sunday BBQ and drink wine in church!” 😂
Instead of following Jesus, they follow Paul’s “just believe” scam while indulging in alcohol, gluttony, and sin. No fasting, no praying like Jesus, just excuses. 🤡 Meanwhile, Islam actually follows Jesus—fasting, praying, and submitting to God as he did.
Christians claim to love Jesus but live by Satan’s handbook:
- No fasting
No praying like Jesus
No following God’s laws
Instead, they promote LGBTQ+, alcohol, gambling, and moral corruption
Satan must be proud! 😆 They slap Jesus’ name on their religion but follow everything he stood against. True followers of Jesus? Muslims. Fake followers who obey the devil? Modern Christians. 😈
Crowds Today Are Atheists & Agnostics – Can’t Even Use the Books They Fight For
The funniest part? Most of these Christians and Hindus today don’t even believe in their own books!
- They argue for Christianity but live like atheists.
- They defend Hinduism but mock their own gods.
- They fight over scriptures they don’t even read or follow.
These people can’t even use the books they claim to defend because their lifestyles are based on modern atheism, agnosticism, and liberalism, And before they pretend their religions were “holy” and “peaceful,” let’s not forget the horrors they committed in the name of their faiths:
Mass Killings & Oppression in Christianity & Hinduism
- Mass Killings Witch burnings – Thousands executed. Sati – Widows burned alive.
- Religious Oppression The Inquisition – Torture & killings. Caste system – Dalits enslaved.
- Wars & Genocide Crusades – Mass slaughter. Human sacrifices to idols.
- Sexual Crimes Church-run slavery & rape. Devadasi – Temple prostitution.
- Forced Conversions Natives forced into Christianity. Ghar Wapsi – Forced Hinduization.
- Slavery & Trafficking Church-backed African slave trade. Dalit women forced into slavery.
- Mob Violence Catholic vs. Protestant wars. Hindu mobs lynching Muslims.
- Ethnic Cleansing Native American massacres. Anti-Muslim riots in India.
- Child Abuse Christian priests molesting kids. Upper-caste Hindus raping Dalits.
- Destruction of Worship Places Churches burned synagogues & mosques. Babri Masjid & other mosques destroyed.
- Burning of Holy Books Qur’an & Torah destroyed in Europe. Hindutva mobs burning Qur’ans.
- Massacres & Pogroms Bosnia – Christian-led genocide. Gujarat riots – Thousands killed.
- And today? These same people pretend to be peaceful while calling Islam violent? 🤡
What Does Satan Want?
- Spread nudity – Bikini culture, porn, OnlyFans. Western & liberal societies.
- Promote alcohol & drugs – Destroy societies. Christianity & Hindu cultures.
- Turn people away from God – Atheism, liberalism. Modern secular movements.
- Promote adultery & fornication – Normalize haram relationships. Hollywood & Western lifestyle.
- Destroy family values – Feminism, LGBTQ+, broken homes. Liberal & feminist ideologies.
- Make people slaves of desires – Materialism, gambling, greed. Corporate & entertainment industries.
- Mock real religion – Attack Islam while promoting false ones. Christian & Hindu extremists.
- Confuse people with fake gods – Trinity, idol worship. Christian Church & Hindu rituals.
And what do we see in Christian & Hindu societies today?
✅ Bikini culture, porn, and adultery? – YES.
✅ Alcohol and drugs destroying families? – YES.
✅ LGBTQ+ being forced on kids? – YES.
✅ Atheism rising in their own countries? – YES.
Satan must be proud! 😆
They say “Islam is backward,” yet their societies are morally and spiritually collapsing. Satan must be proud! Just because they slap Jesus’ name on their religion doesn’t mean they actually follow him.
Christian Hypocrisy Secular & Idol Worship Hypocrisy
They reject Jesus’ teachings but keep his name for branding. They worship idols, animals, and demons but call it “spirituality.” They follow Paul, not Jesus, but pretend they are “saved.” They bow to statues that can’t even move, yet mock Muslims for praying to God They worship a false “Trinity” but call it Christianity. Their so-called gods represent destruction and chaos.
Hindu “Gods” – More Like Demons 🤡
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Kali | Goddess of destruction and death. |
| Shiva | Literally known as “The Destroyer.” |
| Bhairava | A fierce form of Shiva that drinks blood. |
Christianity & Hinduism – Just Satan Worship Disguised
Hindus openly worship demons, animals, statues, and even sex symbols, yet mock Muslims for praying to the one true God, Christians replaced Jesus’ true monotheism with Paul’s lies, the Trinity scam, and idolizing a dead man on a cross, Instead of following Jesus’ actual teachings, they:
- Pray to Jesus instead of God. (Even though Jesus himself prayed to God!)
- Follow Paul’s teachings over Jesus. (Galatians 1:8)
- Worship crosses and statues like pagans.
- Invented the “Son of God” idea from pagan myths.
So who’s really following the devil? The ones who obey God’s laws or the ones who abandoned them? 🤡
Additional Information
Jesus’ religion was pure submission to God, worshiping one God, obeying His commandments, fasting, praying, and calling people to righteousness. He never claimed divinity, never called himself a Christian, and never established a new religion. Christianity, shaped later by Paul and others, distorted his original teachings, turning him into a divine figure and introducing practices contrary to his message. Islam preserves the essence of Jesus’ monotheism and devotion, following the path he truly taught.
