Protection from the Evil of Others

📖Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1537
Abu Musa reported: When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, feared evil from people, he would say, “O Allah, we place You in front of them, and we seek refuge in You from their evil.”

This hadith emphasizes seeking refuge in Allah from the harm and evil of others.

• When the Prophet ﷺ feared wrongdoing or harm from people, he turned to Allah for protection, showing reliance on God rather than confronting evil through human means alone.
• Seeking refuge in Allah is not just about avoiding harm, but also about remaining steadfast in righteousness and not adopting the evil ways of others.

• Even if others act wrongly, believers are guided to follow Allah’s commands, maintain moral integrity, and stay on the straight path.
