Paradise for the Devout Worshipper
📖Hadith 7, 40 Hadith Qudsi
On the authority of Uqbah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say:
“Your Lord delights at a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain crag, gives the call to prayer and prays. Then Allah (glorified and exalted be He) says: Look at this servant of Mine, he gives the call to prayer and performs the prayers; he is in awe of Me. I have forgiven My servant [his sins] and have admitted him to Paradise.” It was related by an-Nasa’i with a good chain of authorities.
Explanation:
This Hadith Qudsi reflects how much Allah loves sincere, private worship done solely for His sake – even when no one is watching. A shepherd, alone in the mountains, still performs salah and gives the adhan not for people, but to honor his Lord. Allah is so pleased with this isolated act of worship that He says, “I have forgiven My servant and admitted him to Paradise.” This forgiveness is a reward for his awe, sincerity, and devotion, It shows that prayer is not about social display, but about inner fear and love of Allah. When you perform salah in solitude, away from the eyes of people, your intentions are pure. It mirrors the actions of birds, mountains, and all creation that glorify Allah naturally:
Quranic Context:
📖Quran 24:41
Do you not see that Allah is glorified by whomever is in the heavens and the earth—
even the birds with wings outstretched? Each knows its prayer and glorification, and Allah is All-Knowing of what they do.
📖Quran 22:18
Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth—the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the animals, and many among mankind? But for many the punishment has been justified…
These verses confirm that prayer (salah) and glorification are part of the very design of creation – birds, animals, stars, mountains – all “pray” in their own way. Humans are honored with conscious worship, and when they pray with sincerity — like the shepherd – they align with the harmony of creation.
Scientific Reflections:
-
Orbital Submission (Celestial Sujood):
-
Planets revolve around stars, stars within galaxies, and galaxies in clusters – all in a perfect, obedient orbit.
-
They never disobey these gravitational laws set by Allah.
-
This is like a cosmic sujood, as they bow to the command of their Creator by maintaining harmony, order, and precision.
-
-
Biological Rhythms (Natural Worship):
-
Birds sing at dawn (Fajr time) – scientists call this the dawn chorus.
-
Trees release oxygen and show patterns of movement toward sunlight (phototropism), resembling a natural “tasbih” in their growth.
-
Circadian rhythms in animals follow patterns of rest and activity – all reflecting submission to Allah’s system.
-
-
Quantum Obedience:
-
Even atoms, electrons, and subatomic particles follow exact laws without deviation.
-
In quantum mechanics, particles operate with such predictable obedience that scientists call it “deterministic chaos.”
-
They never break Allah’s laws – they exist in a state of programmed worship.
-
- You can’t disprove this. Your argument of denial holds less weight than this multifaceted harmony – where physics, biology, and astronomy all confirm the Qur’anic worldview. The evidence isn’t superstition – it’s embedded in reality, both seen and unseen.
But this Hadith does not mean all sins are wiped unconditionally.
Major sins, especially those involving rights of others (like oppression, abuse, theft, backbiting), are not forgiven unless the victim receives justice or forgives. Allah forgives sins between Him and the servant (like missing salah or personal shortcomings), but not the violation of people’s rights without reconciliation.
