📖Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3425
Aisha reported: When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prostrated after reading a verse of prostration in the Quran during the night prayer, he would say, “I prostrate my face to the One who created it and brought forth its hearing and its seeing by His ability and His might.”
This hadith emphasizes glorifying Allah, because He is the One who created us, gave us life, hearing, and sight. He is the source of water, food, the earth, the sun, the moon, and the stars. While many people glorify actors, leaders, and rulers, the real question is – why not glorify the One who created everything? Islam teaches obedience to parents and rulers only when it is not against Allah and not harmful to the soul. If anyone commands disobedience to Allah, like worshipping a man or committing immorality, then obedience is forbidden.
