Signs of Abundance and Transformation

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: “The Last Hour will not come before wealth becomes abundant and overflowing, so much so that a man takes Zakat out of his property and cannot find anyone to accept it from him — and till the land of Arabia reverts to meadows and rivers.”

This Hadith refers to a remarkable transformation in both economy and environment, a world where poverty disappears and Arabia, once desert, turns green with rivers and gardens.

This is not a general prophecy, it points directly to the golden period under Imam Mahdi and the return of Jesus.

1. Abundance of Wealth — This will happen during the rule of Imam Mahdi and the descent of Jesus. There are authentic Hadiths where the Prophet ﷺ said that Mahdi will distribute wealth generously and no one will be left in need.

   The Prophet ﷺ said:
   “In the last part of my Ummah, the Mahdi will appear… He will fill the earth with justice just as it was filled with oppression. He will distribute wealth equally and will not count it. And the people will be satisfied.”

   This explains why no one will accept zakat, because everyone will already have more than enough.

2. Green Arabia — The desert turning into green fields and flowing rivers is part of a miraculous transformation that will take place during the era of Jeuss. This change will reflect the divine blessings and peace brought under his rule. It will likely happen fully when either Imam Mahdi or Prophet Jesus has already arrived. This transformation will be marked by:

   • The complete end of war, bloodshed, and corruption.

   • Universal peace and justice.

   • A surge in rainfall, natural blessings, and fertility of the land.

   • Even wild animals becoming harmless, as mentioned in authentic narrations.

   Modern science already confirms that Arabia once had rivers and lush lands, this prophecy reveals that it will return to that natural state. But such an event, happening with full restoration, cannot occur merely through human effort; it will be a sign of divine intervention and mercy, a time when both the earth and humanity will be at peace.

This Hadith is not just about wealth or greenery, it’s a glimpse into a future of justice, peace, and divine blessing, a time under Imam Mahdi and Jesus, where the world will temporarily see harmony before the final chaos of the Hour begins.
