Treating Others with Kindness and Respect

📖Sahih Muslim 1844
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
“Whoever would love to be delivered from Hellfire and admitted into Paradise, let him meet his end with faith in Allah and the Last Day, and let him treat people as he would love to be treated.”

Qur’anic Context:

📖Surah Al-Asr 103:1-3
“By time, indeed, mankind is in loss—except for those who believe, do righteous deeds, and advise each other to truth and patience.”

“Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds (that) for them there is forgiveness and a great reward.”

“Righteousness is not (only) in turning your faces towards the east or west, but (true righteousness is in) one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets, and gives wealth despite love for it to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask (for help), and for freeing slaves; (and those who) establish prayer and give zakah; (those who) fulfill their promises when they promise; and those who are patient in hardship, adversity, and time of struggle. Those are the truthful, and they are the righteous.”
