Sulaim bin ‘Amir narrated: “There was a treaty between Mu’awiyah and the people of Rome. He was making an expedition into their lands so that when the period of the treaty expired he would attack them…”

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah will set up a flag for every person guilty of breach of faith (treachery) on the Day of Judgment, and it will be announced: ‘Look, this is the perfidy of so-and-so…’”

Urwa reported: Hisham b. Hakim b. Hizam happened to pass by some people in Syria who had been made to stand in the sun and olive oil was being poured on their heads…”

‘A’isha reported: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) bought some grain from a Jew on credit and gave him a coat-of-mail of his as a pledge…”

Abu Huraira reported: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: The son of Adam displeases Me by abusing Dahr (Time), whereas I am Dahr- I alternate the night and the day…”

Mustawrid reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “By Allah, the life of this world compared to the Hereafter is like if one of you were to dip his finger into the ocean – let him see what returns on it…”

Abu Salama narrated: There was a dispute between him and some people about a piece of land. When he told ʿAisha about it, she said, O Abu Salama! Avoid taking the land unjustly, for the Prophet (ﷺ) said…”

Abdullah b. Amr b. al-‘As reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Verily, the hearts of all the children of Adam are between two fingers of the Compassionate Lord as one heart…”
