Abu Mas‘ud Al-Ansari narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When a Muslim spends something on his family intending to receive Allah’s reward, it is regarded as Sadaqa for him.”

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “He who has an extra mount should give it to one who has no mount…”

Jabir bin Abdullah narrated: The Messenger of Allah said: “Every good is charity. Indeed among the good is to meet your brother with a smiling face…”

Jarir bin Abdullah narrated: I gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) for offering prayer perfectly, giving Zakat, and giving good advice to every Muslim.

Abu Huraira narrated: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said that he saw a person enjoying himself in Paradise because of the tree that he cut from the path which was a source of inconvenience.

Abu Umama reported: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “O son of Adam, it is better for you if you spend your surplus (wealth), but if you withhold it, it is evil for you…”

Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Give food to the hungry, pay a visit to the sick and release (set free) the one in captivity…”

Hudhaifa and Abu Shaiba reported: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Every act of goodness is sadaqa.”
