Abu Huraira reported: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “A son does not repay what he owes his father unless he buys him (the father) in case he is a slave and then emancipates him…”

Abu Hurairah narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever is overcome by vomiting, then he is not required to make up (the fast), and whoever vomits on purpose, then he must make it up…”

‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin ‘As narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When the fasting person breaks his fast, his supplication is not turned back…”

Sahl narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection…”

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “He who observed the fast of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts) of Shawwal, it would be as if he fasted perpetually…”

Abu Said narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Indeed, anyone who fasts for one day for Allah’s pleasure, Allah will keep his face away from the (Hell) fire for (a distance covered by a journey of) seventy years…”

Abu Huraira reported: Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) said: If any one of you is invited to a meal when he is fasting, he should say: “I am fasting…”

Abu Huraira narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relations with his wife and should not behave foolishly or impudently…”
