Spider Web

📖Surah Al-Ankabut 29:41
“The example of those who take protectors other than Allah is like that of the spider who builds a house –

In Surah Al-Ankabut (29:41), it mentions that the female spider builds the house.

Grammatical Evidence:

  • “اتَّخَذَتْ” (Ittakhadhat) → Feminine verb
    • This verb refers to a female subject, meaning the one building the house is a female spider.

Scientific Accuracy:

  • In most spider species, the female builds the web while the male is usually much smaller and does not construct a web.
  • The female spider’s web serves as her home, hunting trap, and egg-laying site, making the Qur’anic description highly precise.

Thus, the Qur’an correctly identifies the web-builder as the female spider, which aligns with modern scientific knowledge.

📖Surah Al-Ankabut (29:41)
“The weakest of houses is the house of the spider, if only they knew.”

This verse is scientifically accurate, as the spider’s house lacks stability, protection, and permanence, making it one of the weakest homes in nature.
