The Virtue of Good Character

📖Sunan Abi Dawud 4798
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu’minin: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: By his good character a believer will attain the degree of one who prays during the night and fasts during the day.

  • This hadith emphasizes the significance of the character of a Muslim, which includes being honest, respectful, generous, forgiving, and kind towards others. By exhibiting these qualities, a believer can attain the reward of acts of worship such as prayer and fasting.
